Exhibitor FAQs
How to Reserve a Booth Step 1: Print off a contract/application for exhibit space. Step 2: Review the floor plan and check for open spaces, or if you need more assistance please contact your account executive. Step 3: Once you have decided on a space and placed it on hold with your Account Executive, please fax your completed contract in to (202) 736-3686 along with the required 50% deposit. Back to top What is included in the exhibit space costs? - Raw Space: Exhibit space at CTIA events is sold as raw space which means carpet, furniture, electrical or Internet is not included with the booth space cost (Exceptions might be if the booth is part of a turn-key pavilion – see Special Technology Pavilions below).
- An Allotment of Exhibit Staff Badges: The number of badges is based on booth size. These badges gain you access to the Exhibit Floor and Keynotes however do not include admittance to CTIA Educational Sessions or Special Interest Seminars (SIS).
- Company listing in the Official CTIA Show Program: You receive a complimentary company listing which includes a company contact with contact information and a 60-word company description.
- Product Cross-Reference Directory in the Official CTIA Show Program: This opportunity will be printed in the Official CTIA Show Program and is your chance to let attendees know what business categories your company is involved in. From accessories to gateways and RFID to WiMAX, you decide!
- Platinum Pass Customer Invitations: Invite your customers or prospective customers to visit International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 with a complimentary Exhibits Pass. This offer allows you to inform your most important customers and prospects that you will be showcasing your latest and greatest and just where to find you! (Valid for Exhibit Floor & Keynotes.)
- Promotion of your company in the Exhibitor List: This is published on the International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 website and in attendee marketing brochures sent to hundreds of thousands of prospective attendees and in the Show Daily.
- CTIA Show Logo on Your Website: The ability to promote your presence at International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 by placing the Official Show Logo on your website or if you are interested you can post a direct link to the International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 Registration Page. Ask your account representative for details.
- Media Center Interview Rooms: Interview rooms located in the Onsite Media Center may be reserved for interviews in half-hour time slots throughout the show. We encourage you to plan ahead as space is very limited and always fills up prior to the event.
- Onsite Press Kit Distribution: You may drop off your hard copy press kits in the Onsite Media Center beginning Tuesday, October 6, 2009. CTIA does not accept shipped delivery of press kits, so exhibitors should plan to hand-deliver press kits to the Media Center. CTIA suggests bringing between 500-700 press kits to the Media Center and urges exhibitors to keep some on hand at their booths.
Back to top How do I order items for the booth? Once your company is a confirmed exhibitor you have access to the following International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 show materials around November and then these items will remain available online until the show: - Exhibitor Forms Packet (EFP) – which includes info on Registration, Housing and Platinum Passes.
- Promotional Opportunities Kit – featuring information on advertising and sponsorship at International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009.
- Service Order Kit (SOK) – containing all information you might need to put the finishing touches on your booth presence including furniture, utilities and floral.
Back to top After I submit a contract, what happens next? Approximately 10 days after your contract is received and processed, you will receive an email confirmation of your exhibit space. A counter signed contract will follow in the mail. If you did not submit a deposit with your contract, and request an invoice one can be sent and the required 50% deposit is due net 15 days after receipt of the invoice. If the required 50% deposit is not received within those 15 days, your exhibit space will be released back into the available inventory. A limited number of exhibitor meeting rooms will be available at the San Diego Convention Center for rent during International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009. Your Exhibitor Staff Badge (part of your booth package) gains you access to the Keynote Sessions and to the Exhibit Show Floor. Access to the Exhibit Show Floor begins two hours prior to the scheduled exhibit floor opening and allows access for one hour after the exhibit show floor closes. Back to top Where can I find the Pre-Registered Media List? Exhibitors must assign a PR contact to access to the pre-registered press list. The first step to access the pre-registered press list is to fill out the Exhibitor PR Contact Form, which will ask you to create an account with a user name and password. You can then login and download the pre-registered press list as often as you like. Again, the pre-registered press list is only available to CTIA exhibiting companies.
